On November 18th, the 2nd Inspection and Testing Innovation Competition successfully concluded in Shanghai. Shanghai Liancheng (Group) Co., Ltd. won the Excellence Award from among 68 participating companies from Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong, and other provinces and cities with its entry, “Leading and Breakthrough in Inspection and Testing Technology of BB5 Pumps in Foreign Nuclear Islands – Building a New Paradigm for Nuclear-Grade Equipment Safety Verification with Dual Standard Integration”.
This competition, hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, focused on the core theme of "reliability verification" and aimed to empower new productivity. It is an authoritative event in the field of testing and inspection. During the competition, Shanghai Liancheng, led by its President's Office, formed a special team consisting of Yang Jianming and Bao Andong from the Quality Center and Xiang Dong from the Testing Department, focusing on tackling key testing technologies for BB5 pumps in nuclear power plants. The entries innovatively integrated international and domestic standards, overcoming the challenge of foreign technological monopolies, and constructing a new safety verification system for nuclear-grade equipment. This provides crucial technical support for the domestic substitution of key nuclear power equipment and fills a gap in relevant industry practices.
