Irrigation and drainage pump station operation and hydraulic monitoring are crucial to the water conservancy industry, ensuring the rational use of water resources and the safe operation of water conservancy facilities. This skills competition provides a high-quality platform for water conservancy workers across the region to exchange skills, share experiences, and showcase their talents. It has far-reaching significance for promoting the development of a skilled workforce in the water conservancy industry and improving the overall technical level of the industry.

The Yangjiahe Main Canal Tuanjie Branch Canal Pumping Station, a key component of the Jiefangzha Irrigation Area’s Tuanjie Branch Canal water-saving renovation and rerouting project, was selected for this competition. The pumping station is equipped with four ZLB900-160 pumps, four 130kW motors, and a 400kW backup generator. Built in 2008, it is a key component of the Jiefangzha Irrigation Area’s Tuanjie Branch Canal water-saving renovation and rerouting project.

Shanghai Liancheng pumps have been in operation for as long as 17 years at the Yangjia River Branch Canal and Tuanjie Branch Canal Pumping Station, fully demonstrating the stability and durability of the company’s product quality.

Reliable Product Quality:

Our company has successively passed multiple international management system certifications, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001. The production process strictly follows high standards to ensure product quality. Shanghai Liancheng pumps have also been certified as a “National Quality Inspection Stable and Qualified Product,” further proving the reliability of our products. The station director highly recognizes the quality of our pumps.

Low Maintenance Costs:

The pumps we manufacture adopt advanced hydraulic models and low-speed motors, which significantly extend the service life of vulnerable parts, thereby greatly increasing the pump’s overall lifespan and reducing maintenance costs. In addition, some pumps are equipped with leakage detection and internal winding temperature protection devices, and can be fitted with control cabinets for reliable operation. These features further reduce the probability of failure and lower maintenance workloads.

Excellent After-Sales Service:

Shanghai Liancheng has a professional customer service team that provides 24/7 support. Any problems arising in different regions across the country can be responded to and handled within 24 hours, ensuring that users receive timely solutions for technical issues and repair needs.

The pump station is designed with a canal bed elevation of 1033.58 m upstream and 1034.81 m downstream; levee crest elevation of 1035.84 m upstream and 1036.97 m downstream; and design water levels of 1035.04 m upstream and 1036.17 m downstream. The design discharge is 8 m³/s, with a check discharge of 10 m³/s. The canal bottom width is 6.5 m, with a side slope ratio of 1:1.75, and a pumping head of 1.13 m. The pump station serves 22 lateral canals and irrigates 68,900 mu of farmland, with an average of about 135 days of operation annually in recent years.

Since its commissioning, the Tuanjie Branch Canal Pumping Station has undergone several upgrades, now equipped with an automatic trash rack and a 650HW-7 standby mixed-flow pump, greatly enhancing operational standards. This has provided a solid guarantee of water supply for efficient water management, increased agricultural production, and improved farmers’ incomes within the irrigation area.

During the organization of practical skill examinations, our company’s technical personnel engaged in technical exchanges and discussions with participants and industry experts, gaining valuable feedback from real-world applications. This contributes to further optimization of our product performance and technological capabilities. Our technical staff also cooperate with judges to assess participants’ skill levels in areas such as prime mover operation, unit and auxiliary equipment inspection, abnormal condition handling, electrical equipment checks, and pump station maintenance and operation procedures.
