A novel coronavirus has emerged in China. It is a kind of contagious virus that originates from animals and can be transmitted from person to person.
In the short term, the negative impact of this epidemic on China’s foreign trade will soon appear, but this effect is no longer a “time bomb”. For example, in order to combat this epidemic as soon as possible, the Spring Festival holiday is generally extended in China, and the delivery of many export orders will inevitably be affected. At the same time, measures such as stopping visas, sailing, and holding exhibitions have suspended the exchange of personnel between some countries and China. Negative effects are already present and manifest. However, when the World Health Organization announced that the Chinese epidemic was listed as PHEIC, it was suffixed with two “not recommended” and did not recommend any travel or trade restrictions. In fact, these two “not recommended” are not intentional suffixes to “save face” to China, but fully reflect the recognition given to China’s response to the epidemic, and they are also a pragmatism that neither covers nor exaggerates the epidemic which performed.
When facing the sudden coronavirus, China has taken a series of powerful measures to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. China followed the science to operate the control and defend work to protect the lives and safety of folks and maintained the normal order of society.
As far as our business is concerned, in response to the government’s call, we took measures to prevent and control the epidemic.
First of all, there are no confirmed cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus in the area where the company is located. And we organize groups for monitoring employees’ physical conditions, traveling history, and other related records.
Secondly, to ensure the supply of raw materials. Investigate suppliers of product raw materials, and actively communicate with them to confirm the latest planned dates for production and shipment. If the supplier is greatly affected by the epidemic, and difficult to ensure the supply of raw materials, we will make adjustments as soon as possible, and take measures such as backup material switching to ensure supply.
Thirdly, sort out orders in hand to prevent the risk of late delivery. For orders in hand, if there is any possibility of delay in delivery, we will negotiate with the customer as soon as possible to adjust the delivery time, strive for the customers’ understanding.
So far, none of the out-of-office personnel checked have found a single case of a patient with fever and cough. Subsequently, we will also strictly follow the requirements of government departments and epidemic prevention teams to review the return of personnel to ensure that prevention and control in place.
Our factory purchased a large number of medical masks, disinfectants, infrared scale thermometers, etc., and has started the first batch of factory personnel inspection and testing work, while disinfected all-round twice a day on the production and development departments and plant offices.
Although no symptoms of the outbreak found in our factory, we still all-round prevention and control, to ensure the safety of our products, to ensure the safety of employees.
According to the WHO’s public information, the packages from China will not carry the virus.
