1、Pre-start preparation
1). Corresponding to the grease lubrication pump, there is no need to add grease before starting;
2). Before starting, fully open the inlet valve of the pump, open the exhaust valve, and the pump and water inlet pipeline should be filled with liquid, then close the exhaust valve;
3). Turn the pump unit by hand again, and it should rotate flexibly without jamming;
4). Check whether all safety devices can run, whether the bolts in all parts are fastened, and whether the suction pipeline is unblocked;
5). If the temperature of the medium is high, it should be preheated at a rate of 50℃/h to ensure that all parts are evenly heated;
2、Stopping
1).When the medium temperature is high, it should be cooled first, and the cooling rate is
50℃/min; Stop the machine only when the liquid is cooled to below 70℃;
2).Close the outlet valve before turning off the motor (up to 30 seconds), which is not necessary if it is equipped with a spring check valve;
3).Turn off the motor (ensure that it can stop smoothly);
4).Closing the inlet valve;
5).Closing the auxiliary pipeline, and the cooling pipeline should be closed after the pump cools down;
6). If there is the possibility of air inhalation (there is a vacuum pumping system or other units sharing the pipeline), the shaft seal needs to be kept sealed.
3、Mechanical seal
If the mechanical seal leaks, it means that the mechanical seal is damaged and should be replaced. The replacement of mechanical seal should match the motor (according to the motor power and pole number) or consult the manufacturer;
4、Grease lubrication
1). Grease lubrication is designed to change grease every 4000 hours or at least once a year; Clean the grease nozzle before grease injection;
2). Please consult the pump supplier for details of the selected grease and the amount of grease used;
3). If the pump stops for a long time, the oil should be replaced after two years;
5、Pump cleaning
Dust and dirt on the pump casing are not conducive to heat dissipation, so the pump should be cleaned regularly (the interval depends on the degree of dirt).
Note: Do not use high-pressure water for flushing-pressure water may be injected into the motor.
